Check out Draken’s latest project of being featured on the PBS Show “Connected.” It was an honor to work with MONTY MORAN and his team to show how American’s are more connected than we are divided. Being able to continue the mission of the Department of Defense by training tomorrow’s warfighters not only is a necessity, but it allows fighter pilots a way to continue careers they would otherwise have to leave behind. It’s more than a career, it’s a passion and we are proud of our fighter pilots!

WINS FAA’S PRESTIGIOUS 2021 AWARD OF EXCELLENCE “DIAMOND AWARD”

Draken International has won the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Diamond Award of Excellence for Aviation Maintenance Technician Training. “The Diamond Award signifies to our customer(s) that we have a focus on aviation maintenance safety within the Draken organization.” said Charles “Chief” Smith, Draken’s Field Operations Training Manager and A4 Heavy Maintenance Manager.

To win this award, 100 percent of our company’s FAA certified maintenance technicians must participate in ongoing, specialized training in aviation, safety, aircraft systems, technical knowledge, aviation regulations and FAA rules. Proficiency and excellence are what all Draken maintenance technicians strive for and attain. “FAA’s safety-based award program has a simple formula…knowledge + professionalism = SAFETY! Draken’s maintenance professionals place safety at the forefront in all they do…winning this award is purely this team’s way of showing that a talented team can accomplish tremendous feats while maintaining a strong safety ethos! I’m so very proud of the Draken Maintenance corps.” Jeff Spann, VP – Technical Operations.

Draken owns and operates the largest fleet of commercially owned fighter aircrafts, employing its own team of maintenance technicians based around the world. Our mission goes beyond training our military to keep our country safe, but also to keep our employees safe.

Draken US recently partnered with Global CEO Management Group, Harsch Properties Management, and Hugo Boss to donate $8,000.00 in non-perishable food to Three Square of Las Vegas and Operation Warm Heart on Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada this Holiday season. Three Square has served the residents of Lincoln, Nye, Esmeralda, and Clark Counties since 2007 providing "wholesome food to hungry people while passionately pursuing a hunger-free community." Operation Warm Heart is led by Nellis AFB and Creech AFB First Sergeants whose mission is to provide emergency financial assistance to local airmen and their families as well as to promote the health, welfare and morale of service members living in the Las Vegas community. We are honored to be able to give back to the local Las Vegas and Nellis AFB community!

Fort Worth, Texas. Draken International, signed a contract today for the procurement of F-16s and supporting assets with the Government of Norway. The completion of an exceptionally meaningful process highlights the tremendous partnership forged between the Norwegian Defense Material Agency and Draken. “We are thrilled to have built a superb and lasting relationship with the people of Norway” said Bill Tart, the COO of Draken. Joe Ford, Draken’s CEO stated “The inclusion of the F-16s into the Draken fleet is transformational.” The Norwegian F-16s are a highly modified and upgraded version of the original F-16A platform. Draken International is very pleased to be able to offer an ever increasing threat replication capability to our entire customer base!

Fort Worth, Texas. Today, Draken International signed a contract for the procurement of F-16s and supporting equipment with the Government of the Netherlands. This culminates a tremendous effort put forth by both the Dutch Ministry of Defense and Draken. “There is no doubt, the acquisition of these F-16 aircraft will have lasting impacts globally”, said Joe Ford the CEO of Draken. “The addition of these F16s enhances Draken’s already highly capable fleet and will ensure we continue to offer all of our partners a superior level of training” said Bill Tart, Draken’s COO. Draken International is dedicated to continual investment in the growth and modernization of its fleets of F-1s, L-159s, A-4s, and now, F-16s. We are committed to providing the very best in adversary air assets to each and every one of our global customer base.
