We’re a leading manufacturer of wire-based products that our customers use in medical devices.

At Fort Wayne Metals, we never lose sight of the fact that the wire we draw will end up in medical devices used to save lives. It's this philosophy that has allowed us to grow from a small wire mill in 1970 to a leading manufacturer of customized precision wire and components used in our customers' medical and non-medical products around the world. Whether you're looking for round, flat or shaped wire, bar, strands, cables, or mechanical assemblies, Fort Wayne Metals will customize the product to meet your needs. So no matter what your application demands - talk with a member of our team to see how our materials can help advance the performance of your device.

Only one could reign supreme 🏆

There is no better time than the fall season to have a chili cookoff. With several options to pick from, it was ultimately Dan Hammond whose chili came out with the grand prize!

Through our work, we impact lives around the world each day. For some, this impact looks different – and hits closer to home.

Halle Kramer, Assembler at Fort Wayne Metals, knows how precious life is, especially when she found out she was a match for a kidney donation. The recipient whose life she would impact? Her own little brother.

“Many people don’t have donors come forward on their behalf, and some can live for years on dialysis waiting their turn on a list for a match. It can be a challenging process to go through, but if anyone feels they want to become a donor, I hope that my family’s story could help someone to seriously consider it.”

Today, Halle’s brother is studying pre-med and preparing for his upcoming wedding – embracing a future that once felt out of reach.
