CNC Industries will be presenting an exhibit at the Buy Indiana Expo on March 31st, 2015 in Terre Haute, Indiana. This event is sponsored by the Linton-Stockton Chamber of Commerce and is being held at the French Lick Resort and Casino. The purpose of this Expo is to align Hoosier companies to the unique opportunities to expand their business through contracts with government centers. This is especially true for Naval Surface Warfare Center located at Crane, Indiana. They aggressively pursue many buy Indiana initiatives. We hope to increase our presence for the buyers at NSWC Crane.

The Buy Indiana Expo also includes breakout sessions/workshops by NSWC Crane to educate vendors on how to conduct business with the Federal Government and how the small business administration can assist with growing your business.

Antenna Research Associates (ARA) which is located in Beltsville, Maryland is a world class supplier of RF and antenna systems to the military, commercial and EMC markets. ARA supplies antennas for Communication Networks, RF Surveillance, RF Jamming, Public Safety Networks, and Civilian markets. CNC Industries located in Fort Wayne, Indiana is proud to announce the airing of a segment highlighting CNC Industries on a program called Locally Made Mondays. The spot airs on WFFT TV on Monday October 13th, 2014 at about 1030pm EST. Andrew Logsdon interviewed and filmed the segment which featured Steven Deam Jr who is the President of CNC Industries. Steven discussed how the company began and its history. This segment also included footage of many different parts and some of the different types of equipment used in the manufacturing process of those parts. The footage goes on to showcase CNC Industries 5th axis machining capabilities and explains about the main Industries that they serve which are Aerospace and Defense.

There are a lot of manufacturing companies in our region, but no one is making parts like this. CNC Industries makes light-weight component parts out of aluminum- which is handy, since it's parts end up in high-speed jets and even up into space. CNC Industries is this week's Locally Made Monday.

Fun Aerospace Industry fact: National Aerospace Week – the third week in September annually – was established by the Aerospace Industries Association in 2010 as an opportunity for the aerospace industry and its supporters to recognize the enormous contribution that the industry makes to America’s economy, competitiveness and national security. To support the effort, both houses of Congress issued a resolution on September 13, 2010 establishing the third week in September annually as National Aerospace Week.
