We couldn't have asked for a better day to be out on the course for the Steuben County Commissioners' Annual Golf Outing at Glendarin Hills Golf Club yesterday.

It was a great opportunity to enjoy some sunshine, connect with friends and partners from across the region, and support a great local event.

Thanks to the Steuben County Commissioners for putting together another wonderful outing!

Project Update: Zulu Septic Elimination & Lift Station

Final restoration is underway for the Zulu Septic Elimination & Lift Station project. Once complete, this new infrastructure will provide sanitary sewer service to the community and eliminate up to 33 existing septic systems.

A&Z Engineering is proud to provide construction inspection services as work progresses toward completion.

Work continues on Drake Road as crews install storm sewer infrastructure between SR 3 and Weston. A major milestone was reached this week with completion of the storm sewer main along the north half of the roadway. Expect stabilization in the coming days.

Supporting the infrastructure that keeps Fort Wayne running.

As part of our ongoing On-Call Construction Inspection Services contract with Fort Wayne City Utilities, A&Z Engineering is providing inspection services for utility improvements associated with a new development project. Recent work includes installation of water infrastructure to support future domestic water and fire protection services.

From directional drilling to utility connections, our inspectors help ensure critical infrastructure is installed safely and in accordance with project requirements.

Meet our summer intern, Tristan Bedwell.

Tristan recently completed his sophomore year at Purdue University and is spending the summer gaining hands-on experience with the A&Z Engineering team.

Growing up in Fort Wayne and seeing the impact infrastructure projects can have on a community inspired Tristan to pursue civil engineering, with a particular interest in sustainable and community-focused design.

Outside of engineering, Tristan enjoys music, golf, and collecting records — and thanks to his marching band background, he can still march exactly five yards in eight steps.

We’re excited to have Tristan on the team this summer and look forward to seeing all he accomplishes.
