Meet our summer intern, Tristan Bedwell.

Tristan recently completed his sophomore year at Purdue University and is spending the summer gaining hands-on experience with the A&Z Engineering team.

Growing up in Fort Wayne and seeing the impact infrastructure projects can have on a community inspired Tristan to pursue civil engineering, with a particular interest in sustainable and community-focused design.

Outside of engineering, Tristan enjoys music, golf, and collecting records — and thanks to his marching band background, he can still march exactly five yards in eight steps.

We’re excited to have Tristan on the team this summer and look forward to seeing all he accomplishes.

Phased development, built for long-term growth.

Our team supported the LKB Storage Facilities project in Angola, Indiana with site and civil design services for both Phase I and the ongoing Phase II expansion. From initial layout and utilities to drainage and site access, the design allows the facility to grow while maintaining efficiency and performance.

A beautiful morning to celebrate a beautiful new campus for Northwest Allen County Schools.

We were proud to be part of the team that helped bring Willow Creek Middle School to life alongside architect Moake Park Group, contractor Weigand Construction, and the many partners involved in this incredible project. It was great to celebrate today’s ribbon-cutting and see this new space officially opened for students, staff, and the community.

Projects like this leave a lasting impact, and we’re grateful to have played a role in creating a place that will serve future generations for years to come.

Celebrating 10 years with Mark Jessee this month!

Mark has been a steady part of our team, supporting our business development efforts and helping build the relationships that keep A&Z moving forward. He’s someone we can count on to step in wherever needed and always brings a team-first approach.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find him at the bowling alley—something he takes just as seriously as his role here.

Field Update!

Work continues on the Tract 6 Watermain and Service Replacement project for Fort Wayne City Utilities, with crews active along Sherman Blvd and 4th Street.

These improvements are part of a larger citywide effort to replace aging water infrastructure, improve reliability, and support long-term neighborhood investment.

Updating water mains and service lines helps reduce breaks, improve water quality, and ensure dependable service for residents.
