We at Summit Source are a small family owned company that has been in business over 30 years looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to come and grow with our company. We are looking for a skilled individual who wants to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.
Bookkeeper job duties include working closely with our team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, manage invoices, Payroll, and tax payments. Our ideal candidate holds a degree but not required (preferably accounting or business related) and is familiar with the accounting software package QuickBooks.
Ultimately, our Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company, along with oversee administrative tasks of the company.

Responsibilities:
• Data entry in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts in QuickBooks
• Process A/P and A/R for clients
• Year-end reconciliation and working with CPA on Tax Preparations
• This is a small office environment. This individual will be comfortable jumping in and helping where needed; i.e. meeting/contacting customers for bookkeeping information cross training when needed, and process year end 1099-Misc forms.
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of Bookkeeping experience
• QuickBooks experience
• Strong Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
• Highly organized
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail/highly organized
• Willingness to learn
• The ability to Notarize documents is a bonus
Education:
• Associates Degree in Accounting, Business Admin or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• CPA is a bonus
