The TERO Office will be taking applications to fill 2 Laborer/Flagger Positions.
The project will be in the Dubois/Diversion dam area. Project will last until the end of July (possibly longer).
*Must be registered with TERO.
*Must have reliable transportation.
Position Summary
The Laborer / Flagger is responsible for supporting traffic control operations, roadway safety, and general field labor activities on construction and traffic control projects. This position helps maintain safe work zones for employees, contractors, and the traveling public while assisting with setup, maintenance, and removal of traffic control devices and equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform traffic flagging duties in accordance with state and company safety standards
Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices including cones, signs, barricades, drums, and arrow boards
Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting equipment and materials
Operate hand tools and basic equipment safely
Maintain a clean and organized job site and company vehicles
Follow direction from supervisors and communicate effectively with crew members
Monitor traffic flow and react appropriately to changing roadway conditions
Assist with sign installation, temporary traffic control setups, and roadway maintenance activities
Complete required paperwork, timesheets, and safety documentation accurately and timely
Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and customer requirements
Attend required safety meetings and training sessions
Perform other duties as assigned.
