The next session of barn concrete pours start now! This one is going to be an interesting one due to some existing concrete that’s been poured above where we were originally going to pour to. Saw cutting and jack hammering are in my future. Shout out to Scott for the assistance this morning.

Phase 2 complete with another 2 full sections of concrete being poured today and just one more full section coming up next week, followed by some ramps spanning the entire width on the lean too side. There will also be two 12”x12” drain basins in series with a perforated 4”pipe in between to help mitigate the rush of water that flows down the steep section of property alongside the barn area. These drains will be connected with a solid corrugated pipe that spans the length of the barn and extends an extra 20’ past and terminates out past the tree line. The termination will have a 4” pop up emitter. This job is coming along nicely.

Prep work for phase 2 concrete pour tomorrow. 4’x4’ deer processing area with drain and fab’d up a new water line for a future project at the phase 4 project barn. The next two photos are of the profile we cast into the concrete for a mechanical joint for future connecting concrete pads.
