We are excited to see construction moving forward on the new Hampton Inn by Hilton at Gulf Coast Town Center in south Fort Myers. Congratulations to the entire project team and Vision Hospitality Group on breaking ground on this exciting addition to the area.

Morris-Depew Associates is proud to have played a key role in helping bring this project to life, with our Civil Engineering team leading the effort to secure Development Order approval for the new 115-room hotel. This project is another great example of the continued growth and investment happening along the I-75/Alico Road corridor and within Gulf Coast Town Center.

Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners Approves Tarpon Waterfront Village

We’re proud to share that the Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners has approved the Large and Small Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment applications along with the General Planned Development Concept Plan application for the Tarpon Waterfront Village, a thoughtfully designed 110-unit condominium community located along the Peace River and integrated with the existing yacht club to create a cohesive and vibrant waterfront destination.

Morris-Depew Associates helped lead the entitlement strategy and guide this project through a complex, highly detailed approval process. From technical coordination and public engagement to resiliency planning, this milestone reflects the strength of our multidisciplinary approach and the commitment of the entire project team.

Resiliency was foundational — not an afterthought. The project has been carefully designed to enhance the waterfront while prioritizing long-term durability, environmental responsibility, and compatibility with the surrounding harbor context.

We thank the Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners for their approval and for their leadership in supporting thoughtful, forward-looking development in Charlotte County.

We’re proud of this milestone and look forward to seeing Tarpon Waterfront Village become a signature addition to Charlotte Harbor.

We had the privilege to support the Lee Builders Care fund raise over $140,000 plus In kind donations to build a home for a deserving Fort Myers resident

Pull the Cork is an intimate evening of wine and giving, featuring renowned vintner Institution Winery. A selection from their award-winning portfolio, crafted by winemaker Russell Bevan, will be poured with Institution’s owner, Josh Peeples educating guests on all aspects of the wine.
