The 2025 Ireland campaign BEGINS 🎣 and it’s been a good one 👊🏻 Today has been the memorial match for Ricky Peoples ran by my good mucker Boo 🧡 Peg 8 on Cha Cha (Derrichara) stuck to my hand and this can be a great peg. It actually won the match yesterday 👀 BUT, that’s not always a good thing as they don’t really like two days of hammer! Really tricky fishing conditions today, the wind has been a nightmare 🙄 Had a really good hour in the middle, catching chunky roach, an odd hybrid and this belter of a bream 😍 These went 5.350kilo which won the section… Nice way to kick things off 👌

Little bit disappointed the peg didn’t kick off, but it’s always brilliant fishing even if you’re not fishing for loads of bites! 6 matches in a row now, can’t wait for it 😎 Got to say the bait from Fishing Tackle and Bait has been unreal, top quality 👏🏻
