At Manufakturhof Alsenz, craftsmanship and innovation work side by side. Once‑used barrique barrels — previously filled with fine w**es — are carefully dismantled and transformed into one‑of‑a‑kind furniture pieces with lasting character. 🍇

But the circular story doesn’t end there. Remaining staves and wood residues are shredded using a WEIMA WL 4, and all woodworking machines feed into a central extraction system. The collected fine dust is then compressed into dense briquettes with a WEIMA C 150 briquetting press. 🪵

Both the shredded wood chips and the briquettes fuel the company’s own heating system, supplying renewable heat energy for the workshop and even a neighboring residential building. 🔥
