Safety is at the core of everything we do, and Resolve Marine is proud to engage with organizations that are actively shaping the future of maritime safety.

Our recent participation in the Container Ship Safety Forum's Membership Meeting provided a valuable opportunity to collaborate with fellow industry leaders and contribute to important discussions impacting global shipping operations.

Topics ranged from navigational safety and risk management to the expanding role of AI as well as one of the industry’s most urgent challenges: cargo fires. While cargo fire prevention remains a challenge, CSSF's preparedness, attention to detail, and collaborative approach to tackle this critical issue were commendable.

We look forward to continuing to support and add value to CSSF’s mission through our operational experience, emergency response expertise, and commitment to advancing safer seas worldwide.

This Memorial Day, Resolve Marine honors the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

As a company founded by a military veteran and supported by employees, partners, and clients with strong ties to the armed forces and maritime response communities, we recognize the enduring values of duty, resilience, and commitment carried by those who serve.

We are grateful for the service members and veterans we work alongside every day, and we pause to remember and honor the fallen.

Resolve Marine hosted the WISTA Florida chapter at our Fort Lauderdale warehouse this week with a full house of members in attendance.

The meeting brought together men and women from across the maritime industry for local networking and discussions surrounding hazmat and dangerous cargo operations, maritime emergency response, and evolving industry trends. Rebecca Garcia-Malone, Resolve Marine’s General Manager of Client Services and former WISTA Florida chapter co-president, led attendees through a presentation highlighting Resolve Marine’s industry-leading capabilities and work supporting ports and infrastructure projects, offshore oil & gas, shipyard and marine services operations, and the unique needs of the ever-evolving offshore wind and aerospace industries.

The session concluded with a lively Q&A and a recap of WISTA USA's Annual General Meeting in New Orleans earlier this month, where Resolve Marine was proud to serve as the event's Damage Control Kit Sponsor.

History in the making! ⚓

Resolve Marine has been awarded a contract for a long planned intervention on the wreck of the SS Richard Montgomery, the wartime cargo ship that sank off the Isle of Sheppey in 1944 while carrying munitions. The project involves the removal of the vessel’s remaining masts—an operation intended to reduce stress on the ship’s structure and lower the long term risk posed by the wreck.

The masts have long been regarded as a key factor contributing to hull strain as the wreck continues to deteriorate.

The project represents a significant step in managing one of the UK’s most closely monitored and potentially hazardous .

We were pleased to welcome Junior Achievement of South Florida students to Resolve Marine for an inside look at careers in the marine industry.

During their visit, students toured both our facility, including the dive warehouse, where they gained firsthand exposure to the wide range of roles that support marine operations. The goal was simple: introduce younger generations to the many career paths available in maritime through real-world exposure and foundational industry knowledge. Special thanks to our team members Matt Bierwagen, Hugh Leckey and Paul Brann for their expertise and rapid-fire responses to all the great questions asked.
