Resolve Marine’s Dutch Harbor, Alaska facility generously sponsored the grand opening celebration and BBQ of a new playground at Eagle's View Elementary School.

The Dutch Harbor team happily moved their annual community BBQ, a longstanding tradition at the Heart of Aleutians Fair, to coincide with the playground grand opening. Throughout the afternoon, the team personally grilled and served over 300 hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks to parents, teachers and community members who gathered for the celebration.

Resolve Marine proudly supports the communities in which we live and work. Supporting this milestone means investing in the future of Unalaska and its next generation.

Excellent Teamwork + Strong Safety Practices 🦺

The Resolve Marine Tacoma team recently completed an ABS-attended Underwater Inspection in Lieu of Drydocking (UWILD) for the vessel, Polar Resolution at Port Angeles in Anchorage.

After conducting a thorough safety briefing and LOTO review onboard, our divers safely executed a comprehensive hull and appendage inspection, including weld seams, rudder, running gear, sea chests and bow thrusters. The survey was completed in a single day, with full video and photo documentation captured for the ABS class report.

UWILD ensures the structural and operational integrity of a vessel’s hull and systems while reducing downtime and costs compared to drydocking. Our facility, one of three Marine Service Centers, serves customers across the Pacific Northwest as resource for commercial diving. In addition to underwater inspections and repairs, the facility also offers comprehensive marine construction solutions as well as marine salvage and emergency response capabilities.

Resolve Marine recently visited U.S. Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston to provide a briefing for personnel representing Sector Houston-Galveston, MSU Port Arthur, MSU Texas City, and District Heartland.

The discussion covered Resolve Marine's response capabilities, hurricane recovery operations, OPA 90 resources, Unified Command lessons learned from the MV Dali/Francis Scott Key Bridge response, vessel firefighting through our One Response alliance, and emerging challenges related to alternative-fuel vessels.

We appreciate the opportunity to engage with 25+ Coast Guard professionals and thank Chief Warrant Officer Michael Walker and Commander Richard Russell for their leadership and support in facilitating this important conversation.

Complex problem solving that goes beyond emergency response ⚙️🛠️

Resolve Marine partnered with Grand Bahama Shipyard Limited (GBSL) to provide assembly support of the shipyard’s new mega dry dock, Lucayan.

Due to its immense size, the dry dock arrived in Freeport, Bahamas, in four sections transported aboard heavy lift vessels. Resolve Marine provided critical engineering and operational support throughout the complex assembly process, including controlled ballasting operations, float-off of the smaller sections, precision maneuvering using temporary hydraulic winches, and alignment of all four sections for final connection.

Our team worked closely with GBSL to carefully manage narrow clearances, complex ballast sequences, and continuous winch tensioning during the fitting and welding of the dock's joints. By maintaining schedule flexibility and expanding our scope as needed, Resolve Marine helped ensure the successful completion of this technically demanding project.

We're pleased to have contributed our marine engineering and project ex*****on expertise to this major milestone in Caribbean maritime .

Engineering innovation meets underwater ex*****on. 💫

Resolve Marine is featured in the August issue of Marine Construction Magazine for our work on the DEEP. Engineering Wonder. Vanguard project, a complex marine operation that required specialized engineering, technical expertise and precise underwater ex*****on. The Vanguard subsea habitat, designed to enable multi-day research missions, was placed in a coral reef within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.

This project showcased Resolve Marine’s ability to solve complex problems below the waterline, leveraging the ingenuity of our engineers, divers and project teams to deliver results in a subsea environment. We're honored to have this project recognized, and for the opportunity to collaborate with DEEP on this visionary project.

New ship salvage preparedness requirements are now in effect at Port Hedland, Australia. ⚠️

Since 1 August 2026, vessels above 120,000 DWT must have ship salvage preparedness arrangements in place prior to arrival, and the Harbour Master may request a copy of your ship salvage plan. Pilbara Ports also expects smaller vessels to hold arrangements proportionate to the risks they pose.

As a global leader in vessel-specific emergency response planning, Resolve Marine provides end-to-end support for Port Hedland compliance as well as broader emergency preparedness. Our regulatory compliance team assists customers with strategic guidance and review of vessel-specific salvage plans, ensuring there are no gaps in coverage.

Already have a plan? Our regulatory compliance team will review it against the Port Hedland requirements and tell you where the gaps are. Need one built? We'll do that with you. Comment below or reach us at [email protected].

Love history? So do we!

One of many ships in the U.S. Navy's decommissioned fleet, the was a 910-foot U.S. Navy Essex Class aircraft carrier built after and had decorated service in the Korean War and Vietnam War eras. When the U.S. Navy’s Inactive Ships Program chose this vessel as the first of its kind to be disposed of as an , we knew we had to be involved.

After our team completed a comprehensive environmental remediation, the vessel was sunk in 2006 off the coast of Florida. Today it remains an artificial reef and a fantastic case study for the many vessels that followed.

Strong partnerships make stronger responses.

Resolve Marine joined the USCG Northeast Florida Salvage & Marine Firefighting Subcommittee Meeting and participated in an equipment testing and training exercise with local responders. Utilizing our resource partner Cross State Towing & Repair's facility, we worked alongside McALLISTER TOWING, Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department, and other response agencies to exercise firefighting capabilities and strengthen coordination among regional partners.

Thank you to U.S. Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville for bringing everyone together, and to all the responders who dedicated their time and expertise to this training effort.
