Company located in Fort Lauderdale is seeking to add one entry-level professional employee as an accounting assistant with Customer and Office Support. Company has easy access to I-95 and I-595. We are looking for stable professionals with a commitment to long-term employment. Hours are 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday. Paid healthcare, dental and vision after 90 days. Paid vacation after 1 year. Competitive pay is commensurate with experience. Employees must be drug free and pass a criminal background check

Spanish and/or Italian speaking a big plus!

Customer Support:

Build close relationships with partners, offering support for the related products
Supporting Aftermarket and OEM customers
Attending Boat Shows
Self-motivated with exceptional organizational and time management skills;
Excellent verbal/written communication skills;
Answering, screening, forwarding calls
Accurately enter information into customer databases using Microsoft products;
Answer Phones/ Email Communication, Customer Service
Provide Support as a Team Player

ACCOUNTING AND OFFICE SUPPORT:

Perform accounting and clerical functions to support Accounting manager
Compile and sort invoices and checks
Place checks in envelopes and mail
File and tally deposits when needed
Process freight bills for payment
Contact individuals with delinquent accounts
Research, track, and resolve accounting issues
Order Entry and follow-though with shipping department with a strong focus on detail
Maintain filing system for all Invoices and Sales Orders
Freight Quotes
Provide assistance as needed and requested with all departments

REFRIGERATOR REPAIR / TECHNICAL SUPPORT / SHIPPING AND RECEIVING

Basic knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical wiring – training on specific products is provided
Make repairs and modifications in warehouse.
Troubleshooting.
Candidate will have a hands-on experience doing mechanical repairs.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to handle a forklift
Assist in the resolution of customer issues, including warranty and installation questions;
Provide technical support on phone and email
Identify replacement parts to resolve issues, enter orders accurately, and ship parts to service companies and customers.
Product modification & customization (changing electronics, doors, parts, etc.)
Pulling and preparing products for shipping
Preparing bill of lading on computer, online shipping form completion
Repair, install & upgrade refrigerators, freezers, refrigeration systems, ice machines, and water heaters on local South Florida boats.
Candidate should be self-motivated with exceptional organizational and time management skills;
Team player with positive attitude;
Problem solving and superior customer service
English proficiency is required. Italian and/or Spanish is a plus
