This past weekend we hosted our first all young turners workshop. Seven turners ages 18-35 from across the country joined us for a 3-Day class where we explored bowls, hollow forms, surface treatment, carving, and more! This was all made possible thanks to generous community donations. NEW TOOLS 🔔 we teased a few new tools back in May, and now that we are caught up from being at the AAW Symposium, we are excited to share them with you! After endless requests we have expanded our line of hollowing tools with full sets of 3/8” and 1” tools (HSS, Carbide & Radius Scrapers). In 2024 we offered our first Young Turner Scholarship, in 2025 we offered 3 scholarships and this year (so far) we have offered 7 scholarships for turners 18-35. Thanks to the generosity of the woodturning community and growing momentum for the program that effort is growing and becoming TURNmorrow, a space dedicated to supporting the next generation of turners.

We are new and still growing, but the goal is to expand beyond supporting a handful of individuals each year and instead create meaningful access for many more. More info to come, but for now follow on instagram, learn more about the mission, and visit the website: turnmorrow.org
