PRIMARY DUTIES: Warehouse
• Provide excellent customer service in every interaction.
• Practice safety and caution while performing all aspects of the job to avoid injury and damage.
• Work and communicate effectively, efficiently, and positively as a team member.
• Pull and load a variety of products for outgoing trucks and will-call orders by hand, forklift, and crane.
• Bundle and/or palletize & wrap products for shipping.
• Unload incoming deliveries of products promptly and accurately by hand, forklift, and crane.
• Place products into stock promptly and accurately.
• Count, measure, and label products to ensure accuracy.
• Receive, handle, and load stock and special-order products effectively and accurately.
• Communicate inventory concerns and discrepancies promptly.
• Handle and process all paperwork accurately and securely.
• Cut products on saw and operate rebar fabrication machine.
• Keep clean and organize warehouse and yard. Perform facilities maintenance
• Lift up to 75 # by hand frequently; 100 # occasionally.
• Stand, walk, sit, lift, bend, squat, pull, push – all repetitively using proper safe technique.
SECONDARY DUTIES: Delivery
• Deliver products to customers while providing excellent customer service in every interaction
• Strap and monitor load to ensure safe hauling.
• Open and close warehouse and yard securely; gates, doors, alarm, etc.
• Communicate safety, facility, and equipment concerns to management promptly.
• Check load for accuracy, correct number of pallets and units, and proper customer labeling.
• Ensure that load has been checked before leaving the yard.
• Report accidents: seek first aid assistance, notify police, note details of accident including license plate and insurance of other involved vehicles, and notify management before leaving the scene.
