Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at EDM International!

Today, we celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who shape our lives with strength, patience, and unwavering support.

Across our team and our industry, so many incredible women balance demanding careers with the equally important role of raising families and caring for others. Their resilience, dedication, and leadership, both at work and at home; do not go unnoticed.

To the moms who keep everything running, solve problems before they arise, and somehow make it all look effortless; we see you, and we appreciate you!

Wishing you a day filled with well-deserved recognition and a little time to recharge.

Did you know it’s National Superhero Day?

At EDM International, we know not all heroes wear capes!

Every day, our team and so many others across our industry, show up ready to tackle complex challenges, keep the power flowing, and support the infrastructure our communities depend on.

From the administrative professionals keeping everything on track in the office, to engineers in the field, to the planners behind the scenes and so many others, it takes dedication, grit, and a whole lot of teamwork to make it all come together.

Today, we’re celebrating the people who go above and beyond; not for recognition, but because it’s simply who they are.

Here’s to the problem-solvers, the innovators, and the steady hands behind the scenes.
You keep the lights on, and that’s pretty heroic in our book!

We appreciate you more than words can say. Thank you for everything you do!

Today EDM wants to recognize the men and women who quite literally keep the lights on!

On National Lineman Appreciation Day, we honor the dedication, grit, and resilience of lineworkers across the country. Whether it’s restoring power in the middle of a storm, maintaining critical infrastructure, or working long hours in tough conditions—your commitment does not go unnoticed and we thank you!

You stand at the intersection of skill and service, often behind the scenes, but always essential.

From all of us, thank you for your hard work, your courage, and the pride you bring to your craft.

Wrapping up an incredible week at the 2026 EDM International Conference on Overhead Lines.

Our final day was a true reflection of everything this event is about. Insightful speakers, meaningful conversations, and a group of people that show up ready to share and learn from one another.

The banquet was such a fun way to celebrate the week, with mentalist Noah Sonie keeping everyone entertained and guessing all night. And closing things out with Thunderbird pilot Michelle “MACE” Curran was the perfect way to end on a high note. Her perspective, energy, and story left a lasting impression.

Feeling grateful for everyone who made this week what it was.

Already looking forward to the next one! See you in 2028!

Day 2 proved to be another great day at the 2026 EDM International Conference on Overhead Lines.

Even though it was April Fool's Day, today’s sessions were no joke. Day 2 brought thoughtful discussions, real world insights, and plenty of meaningful conversations throughout the day. You could really feel the level of experience in the room and at the field sessions, and how willing people are to share it as well as receive it! Amazing day!

Looking forward to what our closing day will bring.

Day 1 of the 2026 EDM International Conference on Overhead Lines is officially in the books and what a way to kick things off!

We started things off with a trip up to Winter Park, giving attendees a chance to connect on the slopes before diving into the week ahead. There is something about fresh mountain air and shared fun that sets the tone for a great week!

Tuesday brought us back together for our official opening, highlighted by a powerful keynote from Robert Kenney from Xcel Energy that set the stage for the days to come.

We wrapped up the day with an engaging panel discussion that really resonated with our attendees, bringing together diverse perspectives, practical experience, and forward looking ideas that kept the energy high right through the close of our day where we networked and got a taste of our entertainment for Wednesday with Noah Sonie!

We are grateful to everyone who has joined us and helped make it such a strong start.
Looking forward to what the rest of the week has in store.

Be sure to stay for our closing keynote at the EDM International Conference on Overhead Lines event!
We are under pressure on a constant basis it feels, to hire the right people, create a cohesive team, and perform at a high level. Success hinges on each team member’s ability to be bold and expand their comfort zone though!

In her closing keynote, Michelle Curran, call sign MACE, will take our audience on a surprising and captivating journey through her career as a Fighter Pilot, culminating in her role as the second ever female Lead Solo Pilot for the Air Force Thunderbirds.
She helps her audience recognize that even those who may seem unflappable have overcome the same doubts and obstacles, suddenly making success seem within reach.
