Actively in search of a full time Experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. Ideally this candidate will have multiple years of experience (3+) or the ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge.

Ideal Skill Sets/Experience:

*Knowledge of After Treatment Systems

*Diagnostics

*Troubleshooting/Scanning

*Drivability issues

*Electrical systems

Duties & Responsibilities:

*Diagnose & Repair issues in diesel engines

*Diagnose & Repair issues with hydraulics, brakes, transmissions, steering and other systems

*Perform preventative maintenance as necessary

*Perform welding or fabrication tasks on trailers and other equipment as necessary

Requirements:

Valid CDL/Ability to obtain

3+ years of experience or the ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge

Schedule/Benefits:

Family owned and operated repair shop seeking experienced Truck & Trailer Technician to join our family!

Based in Forest Lake, MN, we are a growing family-owned and operated company that has been in business for over 15 years. What we are looking for:
• An experienced Truck & Trailer Technician - with knowledge and confidence in performing inspections, scanning / diagnosing issues, maintenance and electrical / mechanical repairs
• Experience relating to automotive and light truck applications as well as diesel and heavy trucks and trailers
• Ability to work in a team environment – including diagnosis, repair, quality review / control of repairs, etc.
• Ability / interest in welding and fabrication work
• Comfortable with researching, locating and ordering parts & materials from existing and new vendors
• Experience with a PC who can research items online, through subscription services and who can assist in quoting/estimating repair needs
• Someone who is a hard worker and that is not afraid to ask for help

***Preference given to:
• Techs with Diesel and / or heavy truck, trailer, equipment experience
• ASE Certification
• DOT / MIP Inspection Certification
• A Class A / CDL License
