Wait, is that a photo of Bridge engineers holding up pictures of bridges? You bet it is!

Our San Diego team recently spent time together creating their own bridge-inspired masterpieces. It was a fun opportunity to get creative and enjoy each other's company. At Dokken, we believe strong teams build strong projects, and this time it started with a paintbrush instead of a CAD file.🎨🌉

Happy Labor Day from all of us at Dokken Engineering!

Today we're taking a brief pause from laying out roads, designing bridges, coordinating right-of-way, and navigating environmental clearances and wishing everyone a wonderful day to relax and reflect upon their contributions. We appreciate and recognize the hardworking professionals who help move projects from concept to construction and keep our communities connected, safe, and thriving. While we're at it, we're also giving our computers, permit applications, environmental documents, and design plans a well-earned day off, too. 🚧📐🌉😂

Thank you to Carrie Schindler and the entire SBCTA for hosting its annual Business to Business Expo. The conference was all about finding solutions to improve the more than 2 million residents of San Bernardino County and it lived up to its name. We enjoyed reconnecting with old colleagues, networking with new potential partners, and planning for the future.

⛳ Some our staff recently hit the links at the APWA Sacramento Chapter Annual Golf Tournament held at the Lincoln Hills Golf Club. The event raised money for the APWA Scholarship and Education Endowment Fund (EEF). The goal of the EEF is to provide additional educational opportunities and to enhance educational experiences in the public works field through the award of grants to local area colleges and universities. Investment in people is a core value to us at Dokken and we are proud to support these efforts.
