Did you know the Town of Floyd wasn't always called Floyd?

The town was originally known as "Jacksonville", and the name was officially changed to Floyd in 1896.

So... imagine telling someone: "I'll meet you in Jacksonville."

And they have to figure out whether you mean Florida or Floyd County. 😂
