Some days are cooler than others as a Field Mechanic, as you never know what you are about to get into. Yesterday was definitely one of those days, being able to bring a 66 Detroit back to life after many years of not running, it use to be a shared water well for multiple family peanut farms outside Floresville. Man when she lite off, the earth moved.

One of the coolest jobs to date, this is off a 1922 Whiten Fiber (Yarn) Spinner. That's WW2 Era equipment still running to date.
Bearings failed so going to get it machined down, sleeved and fixed up for another 100yrs.
