Honoring a legacy in metal. 🖤

We were proud to fabricate and install the new Howard C. Jaggers Auditorium dedication sign at Sheffield High School. Mr. Jaggers served Sheffield City Schools for more than two decades and led SHS as principal. He inspired generations of students, teachers, and community members, and his name now greets everyone who walks through these halls.

This one was a little extra special for our team, since one of us was a student at Sheffield High while Mr. Jaggers was principal! Go Bulldogs!! 💜💛

This piece uses our custom metal single letters, each one cut individually in a classic serif font and mounted on standoffs. Floating the letters off the wall gives them depth and lets them cast shadows, so the dedication looks clean, timeless and dimensional.

Do you have a building, room or space to name in someone’s honor? We’d love to help you create something that lasts.

🐯 Tiger pride on display at Lauderdale County Primary School in Rogersville, AL!

We made this custom-printed acrylic sign for the school hallway. It’s a full-color circular logo featuring the Tigers mascot, maroon school colors, and paw-print details, mounted on polished standoffs so it sits off the wall for a finished look.

Printed acrylic is a great fit for schools, lobbies, and offices. It gives you sharp, vivid color and a glossy look, and it holds up well in busy spaces.

It's GAME DAY! Here's another stadium suite we’re proud of! 🦁

Step inside The McKinney Suite at UNA’s Bank Independent Stadium. We had the honor of building the custom signage for the McKinney family of companies. That includes the dimensional gold lettering, the company logo signs, the North Alabama “NA” emblem, and the “Preparing Champions • Building Excellence • Creating the Future” bar that ties it all together.

Gold against UNA purple looks great, and the view of the field from the window isn’t bad either. 💜💛

Thank you to the McKinney family for trusting Alabama Metal Art with such a special space. Congratulations to North Alabama Athletics on the new home for the Lions.

Congratulations to the City of Decatur on the grand opening of the new Decatur Recreation Center! 🎉

https://hvilleblast.com/the-new-decatur-recreation-center-officially-open/

On September 22, city and community leaders cut the ribbon on this 103,000-square-foot facility on Beltline Road. It has four indoor courts, an elevated walking track, a 10-lane competition pool, fitness areas and more, and basic access is free for the community.

We're proud and grateful to have been part of this project. Our team fabricated and installed the custom signage, and it means a lot to see our work welcoming families, athletes and neighbors through the doors for years to come.

Thank you to the City of Decatur and everyone who trusted us to be part of it. Here's to a great new gathering place for North Alabama! 🏀🏊‍♀️

💥 NOW OPEN! The new Decatur Recreation Center is open!

Some field trips are better than others. 🌲

One of our team members recently spent the day at Burritt on the Mountain, exploring the nature trails and the history tucked into the woods. The walk past the Eddins House (c. 1810) and the Chandler House (c. 1845), wound around the grounds of the 1938 Burritt Mansion, and ended at one very special stop: Bandit's Bridge, where the dedication sign we made now stands at the trailhead.

Seeing our work out on the trail where it belongs, surrounded by trees and hikers, never gets old. And we're not done yet. We just delivered another dedication sign for a different trail at Burritt, and it'll be installed soon. Keep an eye out for it on your next visit!

We love partnering on projects like this. They give our community beautiful places to explore close to home, and they honor the people and memories that make these places meaningful.

If you go, don't skip the mountain overlook. The view over Huntsville is worth the trip on its own. 🏔️

Remember this PEAK sign we installed a few weeks ago? Here's a sneak peek from before it ever left the shop. 👀

Austin couldn't resist hamming it up behind the mountain point before we packed it for install. Layered steel, gloss red and blue powder coat, and one very proud fabricator.

Every sign starts on our shop floor in Alabama.

We're proud to have crafted the custom metal signage now hanging in a stadium box at UNA's brand-new stadium here in Florence! 🦁 Alabama Football

Our friends at Simpson's Collision Repair and Wrecker Service made this project possible by trusting us to bring their suite to life with signage as tough and dependable as their name. It was an honor to help represent them in such a landmark new space for UNA Athletics.

Look at that great view of the new field!!

Congratulations to North Alabama Athletics on this incredible new stadium, and thank you to Simpson Wrecker Service for letting Alabama Metal Art be part of it. Here's to many game days ahead!
