Welcome to the Tri-State Metals team, Zach Sherbine!

Zach joins us as our new Outside Sales Representative after recently relocating to the Florence area from Somerset, Pennsylvania. He brings a strong background in auto chemical sales, business development, and entrepreneurship. Before joining Tri-State Metals, Zach owned and operated an automotive rust-proofing business and spent several years helping customers find effective solutions for their corrosion prevention needs.

Outside of work, Zach has an adventurous streak. Before moving into sales, he spent several years as a horse wrangler, guiding backcountry trail rides through the Rocky Mountains. He enjoys hiking, hunting, gardening, camping, and exploring new places with his wife and three boys.

Zach and his family are excited to call Alabama home, and we’re thrilled to have him on board. Please join us in giving Zach a warm welcome to Tri-State Metals!

Please join us in celebrating Norma Coan as she transitions into semi-retirement after 22 years with Tri-State Metals and 50 years in the metals industry.

Throughout her time with Tri-State Metals, Norma has been a trusted member of our Inside Sales team. Her industry knowledge, professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to building strong customer relationships have made a lasting impact on both our company and the customers she has served over the years.

We are proud to congratulate Norma on this well-deserved milestone. We are also pleased to share that after a short break, she plans to return part-time to continue supporting the customers and relationships she has built throughout her career.

Welcome to the Team, Colton Allen!

Tri-State Metals is excited to welcome Colton Allen as one of our new Inside Sales Representatives.

Colton brings a strong background in sales, customer service, and security, along with four years of service in the United States Marine Corps. He has worked in sales roles with Sherwin-Williams and Renewal by Andersen, and most recently spent four years in Nuclear Security at TVA.

Originally from Florence, Alabama, Colton studied at the University of North Alabama and Columbia Southern University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Outside of work, Colton is a husband and father of two sons. He and his family enjoy hunting, fishing, jeep riding, and spending time outdoors. During sports seasons, you can often find them at the ballfield.
