For decades, Rocheleau machinery has helped shape the containers used throughout the dairy industry. 🐮

We’re kicking off Dairy Month with the Rocheleau “parade of bottles”, showcasing the versatility of dairy packaging produced on Rocheleau machinery, from 3oz containers to 1 gallon bottles. 🥛

A simple reminder that flexibility matters in manufacturing, and that one industry can require countless packaging solutions!

We are deeply saddened to announce the loss of Irene (Rocheleau) Viau, who passed away on May 1st.

Irene was an important part of Rocheleau’s history and legacy, dedicating 49 years to the company. She began working at Rocheleau in 1947, alongside her father, L.A. Rocheleau, and her four brothers. She served as Rocheleau’s bookkeeper through her retirement in 1996. Throughout nearly five decades with the company, Irene was a tremendous woman, a steady presence, and an invaluable contributor to Rocheleau’s growth and success across generations. Her dedication, work ethic, and commitment to family and business alike helped shape the foundation of who we are today.

We are grateful for Irene’s lasting impact on Rocheleau and for the many memories shared by those who had the privilege of working alongside her.

Please join us in remembering Irene and celebrating her remarkable life. 💗

The countdown to NPE 2027 officially begins! 🎉

For decades and across multiple generations of Rocheleau leadership, NPE has been a place where our team has connected with customers, introduced new technology, and shared what’s next for blow molding.

As we look ahead to 2027, we’re building on that legacy with a clear focus on where our industry is going next, especially as automation and smarter manufacturing continue to shape the future.

Over the coming year, we’ll be sharing more as we prepare for the show. Follow along as we count down to NPE2027! ✨

Alex and Nick Rocheleau recently attended the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Blow Molding Division’s Spring Meeting, an event designed to strengthen connections between industry leaders and the academic programs shaping the next generation of plastics professionals. As part of the meeting, the group visited Pittsburg State University, home to a well-established and growing plastics program. The visit focused on meaningful, two-way engagement: sharing real-world industry perspective with students while also collaborating with faculty on the evolving challenges facing today’s workforce. 🌎

During their time on campus, Alex and Nick participated in presentations highlighting the wide range of career paths available in blow molding, from engineering and automation to operations and service. These conversations are critical in helping students better understand where their skills can take them, while also giving industry leaders insight into how academic programs can continue aligning with real-world needs. Pittsburg State’s facilities reflect that same forward momentum, including a legacy Rocheleau R4 Blow Molding Machine (donated by Chevron Phillips) and a recently installed Sidel 2-step injection blow molding system (donated by Pretium Packaging), giving students hands-on exposure to both foundational and modern technologies.

Rocheleau’s involvement in opportunities like the SPE Blow Molding Division’s Spring Meeting speaks to who we are as a company. Supporting education, engaging with students, and contributing to initiatives that strengthen the pipeline of talent in our industry are long-standing priorities for us. We value the role organizations like the SPE Blow Molding Division play in advancing these efforts, from student outreach to hands-on learning experiences, and we’re proud to stay actively involved in that community. ✨

Last week, Rocheleau was proud to take part in the Plastics Industry Association Fly-In in Washington, D.C., where Steven, Allison, and Zack Rocheleau represented our company on Capitol Hill.

Throughout the week, we had the opportunity to meet with the offices of both Massachusetts Senators and two members of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, advocating on behalf of our industry and the customers we serve.

Our conversations focused on key issues impacting U.S. manufacturing, including the need for fair trade policies, tariff clarity and relief, and forward-looking recycling legislation. In particular, we discussed efforts to create clearer definitions around recycling, support the growth of advanced recycling technologies, and invest in the infrastructure needed to strengthen a more circular economy.

It was an honor to represent Rocheleau alongside other industry leaders and professionals, working together to ensure a strong future for plastics manufacturing in the United States.

Thank you to the Plastics Industry Association for organizing another impactful and well-executed Fly-In!

Rocheleau is proud to join the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Northeast Chapter! 🎉

This new partnership is a continuation of a relationship that has been central to our company’s growth for decades. Mexico was home to Rocheleau’s first international customer, and since the late 1960s, we’ve built lasting partnerships with customers, representatives, and colleagues across the region. Today, Mexico remains one of our largest export markets, with a strong network of customers and collaborators throughout the country. From exhibiting at Plastimagen for nearly three decades to providing bilingual support, on-site technical service, and training, our approach has always gone beyond the machinery itself.

Joining the Chamber is a natural next step as we continue to strengthen cross-border partnerships and contribute to the ongoing conversation around manufacturing, trade, and innovation between the U.S. and Mexico. Since 1938, Rocheleau has been a family-owned business built on long-term relationships. We’re excited to continue that tradition, now as part of a broader binational network.

Here’s to continued collaboration across borders. 🌎
