With COVID behind us or at least under control it’s time to revamp the Hancock County, Citizens Sheriff’s Academy Alumni Association. Due to the lockdowns, mandates and just the fear of uncertainty in person meetings were cancelled, thus leading to the decline in active participation in the group. Thus, we’re reaching out to the HCAA alumni to assist in rebuilding our ranks.

With that being said, we have a lot of educational and fun activities currently in the planning stages to cover the remainder of 2024. Which include guest speakers from the U.S. FBI, Ohio EPA enforcement, Div of Wildlife undercover operations and many more. A calendar will be forthcoming after the March planning meeting.
Mid-Summer BBQ & Retirement presentation for Sheriff Heldman and to welcome the incoming Sherriff (TBD).
Christmas Party!
And, as in the past, holding fundraisers to assist the Sheriff’s office with unique funding. Which, over the years has included dive equipment, vests/vaccination for the dogs etc.
Please feel free to join us this coming Tuesday the 12th of March 2024 at the “Lima” Avenue building. Map attached.
Hope to see you there and for those that can’t we’re planning to offer a live “Zoom” presentation starting with the April 9th meeting.
