Established in 1986, BCE Engineers, Inc. is a full-service mechanical, electrical, life safety, energy, and systems engineering consulting firm in Fife, WA.

Capabilities & Experience

BCE is a Small Business (SB) with a staff of over 75, that includes 17 licensed Professional Engineers (PE), LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED AP), Registered Communications Distribution Designers (RCDD), and Fire Protection Engineers (FPE). BCE provides professional design services on design-build, design-bid-build, surveys, studies, and specialized task order projects for a wide variety of markets, including K-12 schools, higher education, medical, military, commercial, housing/mix-use, waterfront, and maintenance/industrial. We complete approximately 300 projects each year, ranging from small renovations to new 200,000 square foot buildings. BCE has provided services in 18 states and as far away as the Republic of Djibouti in Africa.

In addition to our experience with stand-alone project work, we also have extensive experience with On-Call type contracts as both a Prime and Sub-consultant. BCE currently holds our third consecutive mechanical/electrical Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. BCE also currently holds a Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (DES) Mechanical On-Call contract, as well as a mechanical/electrical term contract with the King County Housing Authority. Other on-call experience includes the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma, many school districts, higher education institutions, and other local and regional government entities.
