component. We specialize in prototype and short run jobs of 50,000 pieces or less. We have all the necessary tools, machinery and man power to complete our customer's projects, from initial design to completed parts. Progressive, founded in 1962, has over 70,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Our location in Ferndale, Michigan provides quick access to I-75 and I-696. We take pride in our operation and welcome visitors to tour our manufacturing facility after screening in the lobby. Our capabilities include: manufacturing all types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals for the automotive, truck, farming equipment, defense and commercial industries. Using the latest versions of Catia and AutoCad, the Progressive Metal Manufacturing’s engineering department is able to do complete part design and validation. Our team of engineers and CAD Stations Technicians are capable of aiding in production requirements, prototypes and developing full turnkey solutions. Progressive Metal Manufacturing has invested in the necessary technology to receive electronic transfer of files, regardless of format, such as disk, tapes, electronic, etc. Using advanced production equipment and techniques Progressive Metal Manufacturing is capable of producing quality, “on-time” cost competitive assemblies. Prior to shipment parts are continually evaluated by the Quality Assurance Department to insure they meet or exceed print tolerance requirements. We have incorporated the use of EDI, MRPII, PC Network, CAD/CAM and CNC to provide rapid response to changing customer needs.
