Central Michigan Emergency Network will once again this year have a MI5 repeater at the Xenia / Dayton hamvention connected back to the network in Michigan for general amateur use. This will be on the dansville mio repeater pair. The repeater should be operational from sometime Thursday afternoon through Sunday night.

With the return to human spaceflight to the moon, some noticed we had the ARTEMIS II launch audio on our VHF network last evening. We will continue to push the significant mission milestones loop audio to the Mi2 VHF Hub, Launch, Splashdown, Lunar Flyby, and Return.

Our 145.190- 151.4 Repeater in Flint will carry all comms loop traffic while the crew is awake.

If you have ASL, you can monitor 620724. Please only connect via Monitor to that hub.

It's that time of year again. The Peregrine Falcons are around the nest getting ready for spring. We have started up the video stream for spring. There is also a camera pointed towards the large spire that they like to hang around as well. Just scroll down on the video page to see a snapshot from that camera. That camera updates every 30 seconds.

We here at W8CMN want to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. As a present for everybody, we have been working on a new public "Last Heard" system for our Mi5 DMR Network to replace the old version that hasn't worked in a while. We have fully rewritten the system, and it is now live at https://dmr.moses.bz .

The page updates every 10 seconds, and it will also flag channel grants that have incorrect slot/talkgroup settings to inform users who may have programmed there incorrectly. Dark mode and search as well. Enjoy...

We finally got our tree crews to climb the tree for the Detroit Analog Mi1 442.175 KC8LTS repeater, and they have repaired it, bringing it back online to the network.

The Hamvention Mi5 DMR Repeater is now ONLINE and connected to our network. The repeater is on our Dansville/Mio pair, so if your radio is already programmed for those sites you are good to go.

Repeater is at the campground right at the site so full handheld coverage of the grounds. Mi6WAN uplink via Starlink so good connectivity back to our main network.

Big thanks to our Lapeer Brothers for hosting the gear at their camping site so that it may be there for all three days of the event.

Central Michigan Emergency Network will again this year have a mi5 repeater at the Xenia hamfest linked back to Michigan. This repeater will be on the Danville mi5 repeater pair and will be usable on both statewide 1 & 2 just as if you were on one of our repeaters in Michigan . It should be online sometime on Wednesday. If you need programming info you can look on our web site
