Maintenance Technician

Gregory Container, Inc. is looking for a qualified Maintenance Technician for our 1st Shift with responsibilities involving facility and equipment maintenance at our Fayetteville, TN facility.

Duties will include maintaining our current facilities and equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance. Self-motivated, mechanical ability and cooperative attitude are essential.

Must have basic knowledge of electricity, electric motors, hydraulic pumps, and be able to work on Fork Trucks.

Must be self-motivated and be able to prioritize and make good use of time.

Hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Monday – Friday

Starting pay will be based on knowledge and experience.

This is a working position designed specifically to assist the Supervisor in order to get out orders in a timely fashion.

Welding:
1. Be in your designed area on time every day and ready to work in all the safety gear.
2. Must be able to lift 50 #
3. Listen to your supervisor and help with moving cans and material when needed.
4. Learn the welder and equipment if you have questions talk to your supervisor
5. Clean your area to prevent injuries
6. Check the quality of your welds and the other welds
7. Must wear weld hood, steel toed boots, ear plugs, and safety glasses.
8. If you see a safety concern, please bring it to your supervisor’s attention immediately.

Miscellaneous:
1. Oversee overall cleanliness
2. Be knowledgeable in the equipment used.
3. Do inspections on all cans check (look for miss welds).

7. If you see a safety concern, bring it to your supervisor’s attention immediately.
