Friday so far is not looking promising. Test & Tune will be a play-it-by-ear day.
Race Day is forcasted drying out with a chance of a late afternoon thunderstorm.
It is not forecasted to be like it has been the last few days. We know it's human nature to think the worst. As most of you know that have lived here a long time. A t-storm can hit one part of the city and not the other. If one rolls through, we wait it out. It only rains for 10 minutes anyway. Then the amazing staff at Albuquerque Dragway has the equipment to dry out the track so we can continue racing.
In the event we can't continue, we will on Sunday unless we get 75% (2 rounds) done, then it will be considered complete.
The positives are cooler weather, no dust, some records broken, and lots of breakouts. Tune accordingly.
Speculators should come prepared with a hoodie for the evening, as it gets chilly.
