Race recap....
Pill #40, starting position 3 in heat 4....was battling to get the second position when we broke with a couple laps to go.. Upper A Arm, junked a shock and brake line....so we got it back together enough to enjoy meeting those who came by during intermission for fan appreciation. We were to run a B main but couldn't get the car ready. So our night ended after a heat race. I am not so good at taking pictures so I only got 2 but we are blessed to have family who supports us and helps out❤️
Thank you Dylan, Kandace, Jessie, Anna, Juanita and Bobbie and of course the kiddos. Macie did an awesome job scraping mud from the car!❤️...and thank you to all who helped us in any way to get that car rolling and in the trailer. After watching the rest of the night of racing, we are thankful we didn't have any more damage than we had. So it has been a bit since we have raced at Farmington Empire Speedway .... What better day to get out there than our 33rd anniversary! I can't think of a better way to celebrate! Lou will be in the car and our kids will be helping like always along with family in the stands! It is bittersweet as his other #1 fan, our Momma, won't be in the stands but I know she will be riding shotgun with him❤️ Keep Gerald in your prayers as today will be very difficult for him too! Today would have been their 10 year anniversary so keep us all in your thoughts today as we face another 1st without her here on earth with us❤️
