SAEA is pleased to highlight Dr. Mamoun Fahham’s participation in the 16th Gulf Research Meeting at the University of Cambridge, held July 21–23, 2026. Dr. Fahham, a member of SAEA, is currently working to strengthen coordination and complementarity among Syrian professional and expertise networks in the diaspora, linking their capacities with national and local priorities and practical recovery and reconstruction needs in Syria. He presented a paper entitled “A Research-Led Prioritization Framework to Align Gulf Investment and Diaspora Engagement with Syria’s Recovery Needs
