Part 1 of the Sailfish makeover with pretty much new everything from batteries to 6awg wire, to fuse blocks, to pump. New radar, screens, speakers, ais, transducers, wiring. you name it we changed it and then we removed 15 years of old wiring and roof components that was just cut and left in place and labeled everything left. this boat was wired so poorly it needed a complete redo. Aside from half the power wires not being tightened or un- heat shrinked connections, and non-tinned wire which was totally corroded, they were running 2 separate NMEA networks, one of which was totally unpowered. . Needed new NMEA network to link engine with Garmin with fuel tank. and all new power distribution, Part 2 will be the I pilot Terrarova trolling motor, batteries, and battery compartment fabrication, 4 bank charger, led spreader, under the gunnel lighting, anchor light relocation, Panotopix and the arm to deploy it on side of boat. And maybe another 8 “ screen to right of the 1243s.. When complete it will be a cutting-edge fishing machine.
