Folks due to the lack of interest in my craft these days I have suspended ALL work on Volkswagen vintage speedometers, most of my core inventory has since been either sold or discarded. Any small spare parts I may have left I will keep for my own use. Also in 30 days this page will be deleted on or about June 15, 2026.

At this time, or anytime in the near foreseeable future, I am not taking on any repair work. Since 2020, COVID 19 era, there has been little to no interest in these repair services. I have stored away all my repair equipment for the speedometer repairs. I am concentrating my efforts on my own projects and assisting a few choice friends with their projects. I wish you all well with your projects.

Reconditioned 1956 & 1958 Beetle Speedometers. Both were disassembled, cleaned, lubricated where required and needed, functioned tested and reassembled. Comes with new color lenes. The original Bakelite bulb socket holders were damaged beyond repair upon receipt, a later model socket holder was installed to complete the reconditioning. Comes with a new replacement speed indicator needle. Price is $145 each for local pick up, shipping extra.
