We still have an open Treasurer position on our Board of Directors and our next annual election will take place next month at our annual meeting the last week in June. If you think you might be interested in running for the position, or any other officer position, we'd be glad to have you.

For those that might not have heard the news yet, Peter DeFrietas, IAPMO's Director of New England Training and Education has announced he will be retiring September 1st, after 41 years in the trade. Peter has been a huge asset for us, and has spent countless hours attending Board meetings, offering feed back with code changes and CE curriculum, and teaching CE to both licensees through IAPMO and every single Plumbing Inspector throughout the State.

We would like to extend our our sincerest thanks and gratitude to Peter, and wish him a long, peaceful, healthy retirement! He deserves it!

We'd also like to congratulate Chris Costa, our past Association President and Plumbing & Gas Inspector for the City of Taunton, as he takes on a new roll as New England Director of Training.
Chris' last day with Taunton will be June 4th.

With that said, There is an open position available as the City of Taunton is seeking applicants for Plumbing & Gas Inspector. This is a busy, full time position.

Chris leaves big shoes to fill in this highly responsible position for The City of Taunton, if you’re interested and have the credentials, don’t delay… cover letter, application, resumes are due by NEXT WEDNESDAY, 5/27.

Big Happy Birthday going out to Tiberio "T" Sardinha today! T is one of the founding members of our Association, long time member of the PHCC, and part owner of M. Sardinha & Son's Plumbing & Heating, and he's a true gentleman, I don't care what Scott says about him. 😆 T is still working full time, showing the young guys and gals how it's done.
