Well it's time to make it official. After 18 years of full time parting 944s I'm closing the doors. It's been a great run and like I have always said it beats having a real job. I have met many great people along the way and have formed many friendships. I love the 944 community. I still have many parts (I wish Elliott Grafton or Mark Pleiman would come out and get them). I'll still be pretty much daily involved with 944s but not so much as an dependable parts guy. Don't be surprised if you see listing from me just not under the Just Joshin banner. I have been saving a few turbos, S2s and a few others over the years to save,and that is my plan for the next few years. I even had to buy some right turning wrenches. Feel free to contact me if you need anything, God knows im a talker. Thanks again I wouldn't change the last 18 years for anything

Early this morning I received a message that my buddy Nolan passed. When I saw him last week I was torn. He was in a much better physical location but I knew his health wasn't . He was a very religious person so I'm hoping he is in a much happier less painful place. I am totally discussed with the VA but this isn't the time to rant about that. I am going to miss my friend. Nolan update. I did receive some great news today, Nolan is going to be moved to a VA assisted living facility about 50 miles from our lake house. I am so thankful for this. He is still needing much therapy and rehab, something he hasn't received since he was injured. It took a call to an attorney to get him moved. I visited him last week and was totally disgusted by the condition I found him in. He was in a urine soaked bed, his bed was wet from the small of his back down. This wasn't a one time thing it looked like days worth to me. I spoke with the head nurse and she told me she would send someone. After talking to 3 more people and 40 min later someone showed up to change the bedding. One of his nurses asked me if I could convince Nolan to drink more. Wrong thing to say at that point. I asked her if he isn't drinking how the he # # did his bed get in this condition. Nolan is a homeless Viet Nam vet and a bronze star winner. No human deserves this kind of treatment much less one of our Veterans. So many lost people out there with no one to check on them. Keep your friends and loved ones away from this disgrace The hospital is Washington Hospital Center.
