One of the oldest contracting companies in Western Pennsylvania, Fairchance Construction Company is located in southwestern Pennsylvania about 50 miles south of Pittsburgh. The family owned and operated company was founded in 1916. A fourth generation ownership, today Fairchance Construction still holds to the founding principles of delivering their customers with the highest quality construction in a timely and safe manner within budget. From hotels to apartment complexes to auto dealerships, through the years Fairchance Construction has been involved in a variety of projects throughout the United States. A sweet new look is coming to Greensburg!
Fairchance Construction is building a new Dairy Queen in Greensburg on New Alexandria Road, a 3,100 sq ft restaurant built from the ground up for Dairy Queen of S.W. PA, Inc.

From full demolition of the old store to brand-new site, utilities and building, our team delivered on a tight timeline.

MtnCreek Properties HQ is entering the home stretch in Uniontown, PA. Here's the full Update 3 walkthrough.

This new headquarters brings together a red brick base, insulated metal wall panels, a stacked-stone accent at the entry, black-framed glazing and a standing-seam metal roof. On the inside, kitchen cabinetry and the island are installed, and the office spaces are moving through final finishes.

Projects like this come together because of close coordination between the owner, the design team and our trade partners from day one. Thank you to the MtnCreek Properties team and every crew on site for keeping this project on track.

Some of the strongest walls are built inside their own insulation.

With insulating concrete form (ICF) construction, concrete walls are cast between two layers of insulation. The insulation stays put, so the wall comes out strong and energy-efficient at the same time.

ICF walls also hold up well against disasters, resist mold and pests, and keep outside noise down. They run thicker than standard walls, but both sides can be finished with standard materials.

For you, that means a building that stays comfortable and costs less to heat and cool.

Meet Danielle Kooser, Assistant Project Manager!

Danielle joined Fairchance Construction on October 27, 2025, bringing with her nine years of experience in the paving and excavating industry. Having previously worked with Zach at another company, Danielle found her way to Fairchance, where she now assists project managers with project documentation, coordination, and communication with subcontractors.

When asked what she enjoys most about her job, Danielle's answer says a lot about the culture at Fairchance Construction: her coworkers! She appreciates how friendly everyone is and how they make each workday enjoyable. A great team makes a difference, and we're happy to have Danielle as part of ours.

When she's away from work, Danielle enjoys boating, swimming, and camping. She's also a Penguins fan, enjoys music from artists including Luke Bryan, Tom Petty, Nelly, and Kenny Chesney, and wouldn't mind settling in for a movie featuring Liam Neeson. And if you're looking for a lunch recommendation, she suggests the shrimp tacos from Pappy's! 🌮
