Shipping tips
Envelope Shipments. items weighing less than 12.99 oz TOTAL ship for $4.30 MAX in a USPS First Class envelope. Lesser weights, and the shipping cost price goes down. From 0.1 OZ to 4 OZ, is $2.70. We know others charge $8.99 flat shipping; or; $11.50 for items under 2 #; and so on. So, select your items, we will package them, and give you a price at our cost, for shipping. Other "big house" dealers, do not do this!

- Package must not vary in thickness more than 1/4"
- total content and package weight can not exceed this 12.99 oz weight limit.
- contents MUST be "non-damageable. for instance, a neutral safety switch could / would be damaged in a padded envelope. So we would not ship this tyoe of item, in a padded envelope
79% of our items sold this year (555 items), were shipped in a padded envelope. The "Big Houses" charge, a minimum of $8.99 shipping for these same items. So, as a minimum, you would save
USPS First Class shipment. Same weight restrictions but package size can vary. Maximum shipment weight is 12.99 OZ.
We use this for valuable items, and items that exceed the "1/4" thickness variation" for padded envelopes. In short, it saves you shipping cost. The "big houses" do not do this.
USPS Small Flat Rat Box, size is 8" x 6" x 1-5", weight limit of 20 # for domestic shipping. The best value in town! Fill this sucker up with small items and save HUGE on shipping costs! Cost is: $7.15, fo up to 30 #, that will fit in this box! Big houses, $8.99, minimum! Savings to you, on each purchase: $0.84 each, if not more.
In short, we charge shipping based on our cost from the lowest cost shipping method available. For east cost shoppers, USPS, as a rule, is the cheapest. For west coast buyers, USPS is also the cheapest for 1-2 pound shipments. After that, it is a toss-up between USPS and FedEx on shipping cost between the location,m the package size, and the total package weight. We will make the most economical choice for you. The "big houses, won't do this.
