Happy ! For a little throwback, we’re looking back at our office flight test where the team put their engineering and physics backgrounds to the test using basic office supplies.

Calculated for 3 hours? Yes. Flew for 3 seconds? Also yes. Needless to say, it was quite a reminder of why we usually rely on high-tech CAD software and precision field data for our real-world infrastructure projects.

We love pushing the limits of design, even when the blueprints are made of paper. Let us know: could your paper plane beat an engineer's?

Meet another one of our amazing team members: Lauren!

Lauren has been a core part of our team for nearly 2.5 years. A local USI grad (Go Screagles! 🦅) with a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Lauren is our go-to Validation Engineer. Basically, she’s the one who makes sure everything we design actually works exactly the way it’s supposed to.

After a 50-year career in engineering—37 of them right here at Project Associates—it’s finally time for a break. I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to have been part of such a great company. Watching us grow into the team we are today has been an honor. More than that, I’m going to miss our staff. You are some of the most hard-working and talented people I’ve ever known, and it’s been a privilege to work alongside you.

It’s been a great run, but I’m ready to trade in the 8-5 for a little R&R.

For the past two and a half years, Abby has been working with us as an engineer, solving complex problems and creating solutions. One of her favorite projects to handle is routing steam piping. As for the office environment, Abby enjoys the relaxed atmosphere and company culture.
