In recent weeks we have picked up at least 5 new Sanders Supply customers, we appreciate you. Sanders Supply was one of the oldest paint stores left in evansville, with a long history of two brothers that owned a body shop north of here that wanted to save money by buying in bulk on their materials. Well this led to people finding out and started buying materials from them. After years of doing this, the Sanders brothers decided to close their body shop and move their supply store to evansville where it all started on franklin street. Most everyone knew the brothers, Mrs Sanders, and their son steve. When steve took over , he moved them to the location where it remained till it closed on willow rd. For years, Sanders was the place known for great prices, and best paint matching in town. Mrs. Sanders remained a staple there, always greeting customers, and everyone wanted MOM( as she was known to many, customers and employees) to mix their stuff until her health took a turn for the worse and she moved to Ohio to be closer to her kids where she remained till her passing. Jim, who bought it from the Sanders, ran a successful business there until he finally retired in 2024, where Sanders closed their doors for the last time to the general public. We wish Jim a happy retirement, i worked for Jim for almost 7 years, and had a great time while i was there.
