MECHANIC OPENING
Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring the highest standards of vehicle performance and safety.
Duties
Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete automotive service tasks.
Repair or replace defective parts using schematics and technical manuals.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair needs and recommendations clearly to supervisor.
Alignments and suspension knowledge preferable
Requirements
Proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Strong understanding of vehicle schematics and the ability to interpret technical documents.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A valid driver's license is required.
Must have your own hand and power tools.

Required qualifications

Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm No weekends
Starting ar 15.00 hour and up depending on your skill level and experience

So we hope everyone is OK after this storm. The shop will have a delayed opening this morning until riads are cleared of trees and debris. Phil will hopefully be there by 8:30 greet customers. The rest of us will be in once we can get to town. So please be patient with us as we all weather this storm damage. Be safe and thank you for understanding.
