Q grew up on a small farm near the Upper Chetco River and the Kalmiopsis Wilderness with no electricity. He learned at an early age to be creative with the materials on hand, whittling sticks and hammering scrap pieces of wood together. He started working in the construction industry at the age of 15 and eventually started his own design and construction business before becoming accepted into the

school of Architecture at the U-O and graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. Q started an internship at TBG Architects + Planners in where he was employed for 13 years, learning and training under very talented and well respected Architects. Q now owns his own Architectural Firm, and received his Architect's license and is enjoying working on a variety of exciting projects.
