You may recognize this truck from the Oregon Logging Conference earlier this year.

We're happy to report that City Wide Tree Service has put their brand-new GRIZZLY to work, and by all accounts, they're loving it.

A huge thank you to the team at City Wide Tree Service for taking the time to share these incredible photos with us. There is nothing better than seeing a machine leave our facility and go straight to work doing exactly what it was designed to do.

These photos showcase what a purpose-built GRIZZLY does best—handling large timber efficiently, safely, and with confidence. And let's be honest, that is one sharp-looking truck.

You may remember a recent post about Badhabit Trucking LLC making the trip all the way from Colorado to bring their GRIZZLY loader to CEM.

Well, here’s the update we’ve been waiting for 💪🏻

The owner recently sent us this video of his machine back in action after we went through it and got it running again..

This 1980’s GRIZZLY is once again picking up trailers, grappling logs, and getting the job done without issue. Seeing a machine that’s been working for decades return to service is exactly why we do what we do.

We absolutely love receiving photos and videos from our customers. Seeing these machines out in the field doing what they were built to do—and knowing we’ve helped keep them working—makes all the hard work worth it.

We recently had a new-to-CEM customer haul their truck and ’80 215 MT GRIZZLY all the way from Wyoming to have our team go through it—and that says everything about the trust behind the GRIZZLY name.

When it hit our yard, it had seen its fair share of work—which is exactly what GRIZZLY machines are known for: decades of service and still going strong. With the time he had, we focused on the key areas of concern—handling what mattered most to keep him up & running. Our team dialed it in where it counted, bringing it back to a tight, reliable machine ready to get back to work.

We work alongside our customers to prioritize the right repairs and upgrades—keeping costs in check while maximizing uptime, with no surprises.

Key upgrades included rebuilding & converting the grapple from non-continuous to a continuous rotator (something we can do on virtually any log grapple, regardless of OEM); installing a new pump for improved power and speed; rebuilding all cylinders to restore performance while avoiding full replacement costs; replacing control handles and linkage for tighter, more responsive operation; along with various additional repairs throughout.
