SHOP FABRICATOR - COORDINATOR AND QC

Plan and direct the work flow through the assignment of tasks and ensure each task is completed efficiently, safely and that end product expectations are met or exceeded with all of the work completed.

Examples of duties:
• Manage work in progress

• Plan and direct layout of equipment,
workflow and assembly methods.

• Coordinate with Operations
Manager in planning weld
inspections as required.

• Ensure Quality Control Standards
and the use of Shop Drawings.

• Ensure that all workings are
manufactured in a correct, cost
effective and timely manner in
alignment with specifications and
quality requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Preferred experience 7-10 years’ in steel fabrication
AWS D1.1 (Unlimited) Weld Certification
High School Diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED SKILLS
Leadership and organization skills
Effective Communication
Ability to read Blueprints and engineering fabrication drawings
Strong Welding knowledge and application, Mig, Tig and Stick fluxcore.
MINIMUM TOOL REQUIREMENTS:
• 12” Tri Square
• 5” Grinder
• Tape Measure
• Level
• Finger Grips
• Framing Square
• Hammer
• Center Punch

-Must be able to work from blueprints and read a tape measure.
-We specialize in structural steel and architectural fabrication.
-Must have a driver's license and be able to pass a pre employment drug screen. -Pay DOE (depending on experience)
