How to Start Growing Herbs in Water
1. Select Fresh Herb Cuttings: Choose healthy stems from mature plants, about 4 to 6 inches long, and remove the leaves from the lower half of the stem.

2. Place in Water: Put the cuttings in a clear glass or jar with fresh water. Make sure the stems are submerged, but keep leaves above the water to avoid rotting.

3. Change Water Regularly: To keep the herbs healthy, change the water every 2-3 days to prevent bacterial growth.

4. Positioning: Place the jars near a bright window or a spot with indirect sunlight, like a kitchen counter.

5. Wait for Roots to Form: In 1-2 weeks, you’ll notice roots starting to develop at the base of the cuttings. Once rooted, the herbs will thrive with minimal care.

Hi, I am Kathy Singleton with Singleton Surveying. We try to respond quickly to everyone but we do miss calls. You are welcome to call, text or email us: 918/618-7655 or [email protected]. Texting and emailing are better for us due to the fact that it leaves a trail of the conversations we can refer back to. It is hard to take messages when you are working in the field. Please keep in mind that most surveyors work in the field every day (6-7 days a week) in all types of weather. Also, most of them don’t have a person dedicated to answering the phone at an office. At this time we are scheduling in October and try to help everyone as soon as we can. If you need a survey you will need to provide your legal description (not just the property address) along with all contact information and the type of survey needed. If your property lines are wooded and you can wait for a survey until the leaves come off it will be less expensive to do in the winter but you will need to schedule it before then. The actual field work is only a small part of the survey and if there are any problems with your property and or legal it adds time to solve the problems thus putting our schedule further behind. Oftentimes what we have scheduled for a 1 day job turns into 3 days. Weather is also an issue to scheduling. Thank you for your patience. Stay cool! It is very hot! God bless us all!!
