Went down to Hillpoint, WI yesterday morning to the Sauk County Dairy Breakfast.
Travis Luxton and his family hosted, and (ill probably catch heck for this 🤫🫣) have never attended a dairy breakfast before.... so i figured it was high time. So we made the two hour drive and very much enjoyed all of it. There was way way more people than I ever would have guessed: close to 5000 is what the rough total was. Ate pancakes, cheese and yogurt. Took pictures of cool tractors. Snooped their freestall, milk house, calf barn. It was a great morning. Note to self: get to the breakfast earlier next year!!
The Luxtons are good Clatters customers, and gotten to be even better friends. It was fun to see them all taking this responsibility to the best level and how well it all went together. They should be proud. Farm looked great. Perfect weather. A really fun day.
If you've never been to a WI county dairy breakfast, I highly recommend it!! Bring your kids!
