Due to our continuous growth and search for contributing talent, Titan America, LLC is seeking a skilled friction dragline operator to be based at our Corkscrew facility in Estero, FL. This position offers exposure to large excavating equipment feeding an industrial organization with a 1-million-ton-per-year production facility.
Job Responsibilities:
• Vast familiarity and knowledge of Manitowoc 4600 draglines – ability to operate and lubricate a Manitowoc 4600 dragline on a regular basis.
• Dragline must be kept in compliance with federal and Lee County regulations.
• Ensure that a safe workplace is maintained for self and all employees around the dragline, based on company policies and MSHA regulations.
• Experience with friction draglines digging on a limestone bench is a requirement.
• Experience with underwater digging is a plus.
• Implement preventive maintenance program on the machine to match the availability to the desired utilization. Inspect, troubleshoot, communicate needs on the 4600.
• Daily duties will include operating, maintenance/repairs, cleaning, and other duties as needed.
• Maintain and present records.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of friction dragline experience is a must.
• Knowledge of contract maintenance, production, and daily maintenance is required.
• Must show a willingness to learn, be adaptable, and have a desire to take ownership of the 4600.
• High school diploma (or equivalent), plus applicable friction dragline experience.
• Have a good knowledge of maintenance practices and work experience with troubleshooting and repair of draglines. SWFL experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written; Spanish language a plus.
• Must be able to work 50+ hours/week
