What has our Ag Conservation Engineering Team been up to? Glad you asked!

Current projects in various stages: about 40
Of those, about 20 are under construction.
Of those, about 14 are almost done and close to moving across the finish line.

Most are complete projects that are large/full farm scale projects to implement all needed practice to protect the environment and make the farms more efficient in production and nutrient management.

These projects are done through funding sources like Pennvest, ACAP, NFWF, RCPP, Growing greener, State/SCC/DEP sources, as well as programs from integrators or co-ops through non-profits.

We have extensive experience working with a myriad of grant sources including projects that combine grants and other sources of funding. We are well equipped to help navigate grant funding for conservation projects with clients. Feel free to contact us for more information.

Well done Sir!!!

Well done Sir!!!

86-year-old farmer Mervin Raudabaugh proved he cannot be bought. An AI data center developer offered the Pennsylvania native $15 million to purchase his 261-acre property in Silver Springs Township. He turned down the offer to protect the farm where he grew up and later raised his own family. Instead, Mervin enrolled the land in a farmland preservation program. This will ensure that, no matter who owns the farm in the future, it can't be commercially developed.

Earlier this spring, TeamAg agronomist Lew Frame joined Calvary Chapel of Honey Brook as they assisted the family Caudle family of Buck Hill Campground in Newland, North Carolina as they rebuild following the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene in the Fall of 2024. Lew assisted many other volunteers as they regraded and installed replacement cabins with the help of Lancaster Log Cabins. While there is still more work to do, the Caudle family hopes to fully reopen for the camping season of 2026 (https://www.wbtv.com/2024/10/24/avery-county-campground-struggles-return-normal-after-helene/?outputType=amp)
