The EMJD team mourns the loss of Joseph Turner, who passed away of a heart attack on September 20. Joe worked as a press brake operator at EMJD for nearly 20 years. Joe took great pride in his craftsmanship and worked hard to make great parts for our customers. As a team, we miss his quick wit and his courage to always call things like he saw them. We have been marked by Joe both personally and as a business. We mourn alongside and pray with his family and friends as they grieve.

These clicker pawls are among the smallest parts we make in the shop, with our laser holding critical tolerances within a few thousandths of an inch.

Nothing beats the sweet percussion of our fully automated Finn-Power turret punch press pumping out perfect aluminum parts. Today we are making atmospheric balloon testing components. Before liftoff, we will break the parts out from the sheet and form them to print.

You can’t build great things without great people behind them.
This week, we’re excited to welcome two new additions to the EMJD team: Josh and Verenice!

They’re joining a team built around learning, craftsmanship, hard work, and doing things the right way.

We’re looking forward to watching them develop their skills, take on new challenges, and add their own strengths to the team.

Welcome to EMJD, Josh and Verenice! We’re glad you’re here.

For 250 years, American manufacturing has been built one part, one project, and one hardworking team at a time.

This Independence Day, we're grateful to be part of an industry that continues to build, innovate, and keep our communities moving. Every sheet of metal, every bend, every weld, and every finished part represents something bigger than itself.

At EMJD, we're proud to carry that tradition forward by living out the values that have shaped us for decades:

• Dignity in the way we treat one another.
• Dependability in every commitment we make.
• Dedication to quality craftsmanship.
• Distinction in the work we deliver.

As we head into the holiday weekend, thank you to our employees, customers, suppliers, and partners for being part of our story.

Here's to 250 years of American ingenuity, and to building what's next.

Happy Fourth of July!
