Wishing everyone a safe and happy Labor Day weekend from the Docks On Wheels Crew!

07/14/2026

With the ongoing wildfire evacuations and extreme heat, we want to wish everyone in our community safety during this difficult time. We hope you're staying safe, keeping cool, and taking care of one another.

Due to evacuation orders, road closures, and public water access sites being inaccessible in some areas, we may be unable to complete certain dock and lift installations, removals, deliveries, or service calls as scheduled. The safety of our customers, our crew, and emergency personnel comes first.

If you're looking for a way to help, Vets On The Lake is currently accepting donations of bottled water, Gatorade, and Powerade for the firefighters and emergency personnel working on the front lines. Every donation is appreciated and helps support those protecting our communities.

For those affected by the evacuations, a temporary evacuation shelter has been established at:

Babbitt Municipal Building
71 South Drive
Babbitt, MN 55706

Please keep an eye on the Watch Duty app AND Lake County evac map for updates on shelters and evacuation zones.
The Garden Lake Bridge is closed for entry, exit only.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Our thoughts are with everyone affected, and we're incredibly grateful to the firefighters, emergency responders, and volunteers working tirelessly to protect our communities.
