Yesterday, employees from Forge & Build and EquipmentShare Rental participated in a driving training simulator brought in by EquipmentShare. The simulator, housed inside a large training trailer, allowed team members to step into realistic driving scenarios in a safe and controlled environment.

During the training, employees practiced responding to different road conditions, hazards, and situations that drivers may face while operating vehicles and hauling equipment. It was a great opportunity to strengthen awareness, decision-making, and overall driving safety.

A big shoutout to Cody Skees from EquipmentShare for leading the training and helping our team get the most out of the experience. We appreciate the time and effort put into helping keep our crews safe on the road!

We’re excited to have a new Forge & Build, Build Board up along Hwy 36!

It’s always great to see another board go up representing Forge & Build and the work we’re proud to support in our communities. We enjoy being part of local projects and working with the builders and customers who help our communities grow.

The build board is located along Hwy 36 and right behind Dollar General—you’ll definitely want to keep an eye out for it! If you’re looking for our Forge & Build building, you can find us by taking the Roseport Rd exit.

Employee Spotlight: Lonnie Vessar!

Meet Lonnie, our manager here at Forge and Build!
With an impressive 37 years of experience as a contractor, Lonnie brings a deep understanding of the industry and a strong commitment to helping our team and customers succeed. His many years in the field have given him valuable knowledge and perspective that he brings to our team every day.

Lonnie enjoys working at Forge and Build because it gives him the opportunity to continue doing what he loves—working with contractors, supporting employees, and building strong relationships within the community. He takes pride in helping customers find the right materials for their projects and being part of a team that works together to get the job done.

When he’s not at work, he enjoys playing poker, spending time with animals, and working on side projects. At home he has quite the unique group of animals, including two yaks, an alpaca, and miniature donkeys!

We’re grateful to have his leadership and years of experience guiding our team each day!

When he’s not working hard for our customers, Brian enjoys spending time camping with his family and keeping up with football and baseball.
