Soar Optics Announced as Finalist in ABB Analytical Measurement Startup Challenge 2022
ELK GROVE, CA – Soar Optics has been named as a “Re-Imagine Imaging” Finalist in the ABB Analytical Measurement Startup Challenge 2022, in collaboration with Microsoft, ABB Measurement & Analytics, and SynerLeap. This Challenge seeks to discover new techniques and methods related to imaging.
Soar Optics will be participating in the final presentation on December 15, 2022. Winners receive $30,000 and enter into a six-month project with ABB scientists and engineers to develop an MVP of their prototype device. Soar Optics is proposing a dedicated analyzer for microplastics detection.
Steve Barnett, Founder and CEO of Soar Optics said, “We are excited that our dedicated chemical imaging analyzers have been recognized as we move to the finals of this competition. Our personnel have worked with ABB for many years and we hope to extend that relationship through this Challenge.”
